Ciao D'Antoni

Saying Goodbye to the now "former" Lakers Coach will not be difficult for many many Laker Fans.  Yours Truly is one of those fans.

As I sit here at 11:26 pm [April 30, 2014] to start describing my thoughts and feeling on the NEWS that Mike D'Antoni resigned I can only begin with this,

   "Today Was a Good Day.."

THE LAKERS COACH IS BS

        A.P. (AFTER PHIL), BRIAN SHAW (B.S) WAS A CANDIDATE.  A FORMER PLAYER, UNDER PHIL JACKSON, FOR FOUR SEASONS, AND AN ASSISTANT UNDER
PJ 2.0.

Don't take it personally, it might just be the initials

B.S ACTUALLY BEGAN AS A SCOUT FOR THE LAKERS IN 2003 AND WAS ASSISTANT COACH UP THROUGH THE END OF MR. JACKSON'S SECOND TERM AS THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS' HEAD COACH. ^source: NBA.COM

AND FIRED...

MIKE D DAY: MIKE D'ANTONI'S LAST DAYS

     D Day is a term the military uses for, "the day on which a combat attack or operation is to be initiated." -Wikipedia

April 16, 2014  is the last day of the regular season and I believe exit interviews will commence the next day on April 17, 2014.  I contend that there will be a mutually parting of the ways.   Mike D'Antoni's D-Day (#MikeDDay) is set for April 18, 2014.
